In a dream last week, I had a new car. It was an upgrade, bigger and nicer than my old car, but it was hard to drive. Then I realized I wasn’t in the driver’s seat.

I was trying to drive  from the passenger seat.

I’m not surprised by the message from this dream, because I’m offering a new teleclass on Speaking Up (subtitle: Claiming Your Voice, Wisdom & Gifts) that starts this Thursday and the course material always ‘works me’ during the weeks leading up to the class.

I can give you so many examples in my own life of missing the creative opportunity of a particular moment… because I was too afraid to speak up, or to act on what I knew to be true. I didn’t trust myself, I didn’t trust Spirit. (In other words, I was trying to drive from the passenger seat.)

But as I’ve worked with the very real Source energies of the Deep Creative, I’ve become connected to my own intuitive knowing in a deep way. I can see how the Deep Creative wants to move. I’m much more likely to see the creative opportunities that are present in a particular situation.

This visceral inner knowing has given me the strength to speak up (and show up) in ways and situations that I previously would have found way too intimidating. In this class I’ll be sharing my experiences, as well as the experiences of some of my clients. But more importantly, you’ll be discovering your own strength, power and uncanny inner clarity.

You might have memories of times in your own life when you were too shy to speak. Or too confused, angry, or depressed to step up and participate in a situation in the way that you wanted to. And then sometimes, we’re just simply looking in the wrong direction.
